The SAN questionnaire (activity, well-being, mood) is designed to determine the state of an adult at the time of the survey. Information on the interpretation of indicators is more needed by specialists, but ordinary people can also learn more about the questionnaire.

SAN technique: what is it?

The test checks how functional a person is at the moment, can he adequately make decisions, respond quickly, work physically? Or he urgently needs a rest.

The disadvantages of the technique

In the described method, there is one major drawback. The SAN questionnaire includes fairly general features for many states. This makes diagnosis difficult. In addition, the answers are often extremely subjective.

You can find a lot of SAN rapid tests that give computer processing of the results, but it is better when the characteristic is written by a trained specialist who sees the real personality features for points.

In a detailed description of the results of the survey, the psychologist should describe the conditions under which the study was conducted: after stress, physical exertion or in a relaxed atmosphere. Anyone who tests should take into account how long a person has rested.

If the SAN questionnaire is given to a person at the end of the working day, then, of course, the test will show low scores for activity and well-being (below 4).At the same time, the mood can be good, but it can also be depressed.
