Aeroexpress put into operation the long-awaited two-story train. The first - to the airport Vnukovo. In total, four such trains will run in this direction.
In November, double-decker trains will start transporting passengers from Paveletsky railway station to Moscow’s busiest airport, Domodedovo. There until the end of the year will allow seven double-deck structures.
Only one-story trains will go to Sheremetyevo for now, since the two-storey one does not pass under the bridge at the Tverskoy Zapad.

The new composition was made specifically for Aeroexpress by the Swiss company Stadler Rail AG.
ES-2 (Electric Stadler, type 2), belongs to the Stadler KISS RUS family of double-decker electric trains (Rus was therefore designed for our (and former Soviet republics) railways with a constant current of 3 kV and a gauge of 1520 mm).EL-2 is capable of speeds up to 160 km / h.
A total of 396 seats are provided in the 4-car train and 700 in the 6-car train, of which 84 are in business class. Each car is equipped with several screens, sockets, comfortable and easily transformed seats and a free Wi-Fi network.
